The Rocket X 3 is Hoka's road racer, and the version where durability finally caught up with speed. A dual-density PEBA midsole sits around a full-length winged carbon plate with a spoon-shaped section that starts in the midfoot and drives through toe-off. Hoka added more outsole rubber than the Rocket X 2 carried, so it survives a training block instead of only a race.
