Asics GEL-NYC

The GEL-NYC is not a running shoe, and that is the point. ASICS built it out of its own archive: the upper comes from the GEL-NIMBUS 3 of the early 2000s, the detailing from the GEL-MC PLUS V, and the midsole and outsole tooling from the GEL-CUMULUS 16. It launched as an Awake NY collaboration in January 2023 and went on to become one of ASICS' best-selling models worldwide.
