The Cielo X1 2.0 is Hoka's flagship racer, and the fix for everything that held the original back. Hoka cut 41 g — the lab now weighs it at 208 g against 249 g for the v1 — and replaced the corduroy-textured upper with a breathable engineered jacquard mesh. Underneath, a dual-density supercritical PEBA midsole wraps a full-length winged carbon plate with a forked heel that scoops under the rearfoot.
