Nike Acg Zegama Trail Chano Camo

The Chano Camo print scatters muted earth tones across the ACG Zegama Trail, which has the useful side effect of disguising trail dust between washes. This is the unlined version, so it breathes well in warm weather, and the thick midsole does the heavy lifting on stony hillsides where every step lands on something uneven and hard.

It fits long climbs on gravel and rough doubletrack, and days where the descent is more punishing than the ascent. The tread pattern holds on dry rock and packed earth, and the upper flexes with the foot rather than fighting it on side slopes. For deep mud and standing water, a waterproof version of the same shoe makes more sense.
