Nike Alphafly 3 Prototype White Orange

Built for: Marathon race day at your target pace.

Nike rebuilt the Alphafly for its third version: one full-length ZoomX midsole rather than stacked sections, a carbon Flyplate through the length of the shoe, and two Air Zoom pods under the forefoot. The transition is smoother than the Alphafly 2, which is what makes it holdable deep into a marathon.

Why it works

• Full-length ZoomX midsole — Nike's lightest and most responsive foam, now molded as one piece for a smoother transition.
• Carbon-fibre Flyplate runs the length of the shoe, stiffening toe-off and driving you forward.
• Two Air Zoom units under the forefoot load on landing and release at push-off.
• Atomknit 3.0 upper: thin, breathable and water-resistant, holding the foot at speed without adding weight.
