The FK version swaps the usual thin weave for a Flyknit upper, which wraps the foot more like a sock and eases pressure across the instep. Everything below the laces stays the same, so you still get the ZoomX midsole, the full length carbon plate and the minimal outsole coverage that keeps race weight down.

Runners who have found racing uppers harsh over longer distances usually get on well with this one. The knit gives a little as the foot swells, which helps in the closing stages of a marathon. Otherwise it behaves like any Vaporfly: quick, low to the ground and happiest at a committed pace. Expect the same light feel in the hand despite the extra material across the upper.
