Nike Zoomx Vaporfly Next 4% Barely Green

Barely Green is a soft mint finish that reads almost grey in dull light, one of the quieter Vaporfly 4 colourways. The racing platform is unchanged from the rest of the line: ZoomX foam stacked higher than in the previous generation, a carbon plate running the full length, and a thin upper with very little structure.

What stands out on the run is how little effort the transition takes. The shoe carries you forward rather than asking you to push, which pays off over the back half of a long race. It suits 10k through marathon distances and makes a useful tool for goal pace sessions in the final weeks of a block.
