The Cloudswift is On's urban road shoe — built for pavement and the repeated hard impacts that come with it. The 4 runs a firm EVA-based Helion midsole with compression pods that collapse under load, and a three-quarter-length nylon Speedboard for structure. The biggest change is grip: traction more than doubled over the Cloudswift 3 in lab testing, which matters on wet city pavement.
