Nike Air Zoom Alphafly Next 3% Vivid Grape

Vivid Grape is a saturated purple, one of the more distinctive Alphafly 3 releases and noticeably different in the hand from the photographs. The midsole is left in a contrasting tone so the forefoot air units remain visible. As a colour it suits the shape better than the brighter options do, and it wears well off the run.

In practice it is a race shoe you ration. The ZoomX and carbon plate platform is efficient at marathon pace and excessive below it, and the foam does not want unlimited mileage. Keep it for goal races and the sessions immediately before them, and run everything else of the week in a conventional trainer built for daily use.
