Nike's Mind Science department built the Mind 001 as a sensory tool rather than a shoe you run in. Twenty-two oversized foam nodes line the outsole and move up and down against your foot as your weight shifts, creating changing pressure across the sole. A stretch fabric footbed covers them, and a soft foam midsole sits underneath for standing and easy walking.
