Nike completely revamped the Pegasus Trail for its fifth version, switching the midsole to ReactX foam, which is measurably softer than the React it replaces. Underneath sits an All Terrain Compound rubber outsole with 3.2 mm lugs — enough bite for gravel and hard-packed dirt without feeling clumsy back on tarmac. The mesh upper carries a protective durability layer and reflective detailing for early starts.
