Nike Zoomx Vaporfly Next% 4

This is the standard fourth generation Vaporfly, the version Nike rebuilt rather than refreshed. The midsole holds more ZoomX foam than before, the carbon plate was reshaped to smooth the roll through the stride, and the upper was redrawn to reduce pressure across the instep while keeping the whole shoe extremely light. Outsole rubber sits only at the points that see real contact with the road.

Against the Alphafly it is lower and more responsive, which many runners prefer at shorter race distances. Against the Vaporfly 3 it is softer and steadier. Taken together, that makes it the most versatile racing shoe Nike currently sells, comfortable anywhere from a 10k time trial to a full marathon. For many runners it is now the only racing shoe they need to own.
