Horizon lands somewhere between blue and grey, which is a quieter look than the Cloudmonster's shape usually gets. What you are really buying is the depth of cushioning: a thick arrangement of CloudTec pods that takes the sting out of repeated road impact across the longest run of the week. The colour stays understated while the cushioning does the talking underfoot.

Saturday or Sunday long runs are its natural slot, along with the easy days either side of a hard session. The Speedboard gives the soft midsole a sense of direction, the heel is held firmly enough for a relaxed pace, and the platform stays stable when tired legs stop tracking quite so neatly.
