On Cloudmonster 3 Limelight

Limelight is a bright, almost fluorescent yellow-green, and it suits the third Cloudmonster's more refined ride. On has kept the huge CloudTec pods but tightened up how the shoe moves, so the cushioning still feels deep while the transition from landing to toe-off is noticeably quicker than earlier versions managed. The shoe finally feels as quick as it looks in this colour.

That makes it more versatile than its predecessors, able to cover easy days and pick up to a steadier pace without protest. It remains a road shoe, happiest on tarmac and smooth path, and the bright upper has the side benefit of being easy to see on dark winter mornings. A single pair can reasonably cover most of a training week now. That was never quite true before.
