The Cloudmonster is On's biggest, boldest daily trainer, and the 3 goes further than either version before it: On stacked the hollow CloudTec pods in three layers where the previous Cloudmonsters used two. Helion foam carries the ride — firm rather than soft, one of the firmest readings recorded in lab testing — with a TPU Speedboard through the midfoot for structure. It looks like a maximalist shoe and runs like a stable, grounded one.
