On Cloudsoma Urchin

Urchin is a dusky purple-grey, a quieter choice than the brighter end of On's palette and one that wears well. Underneath it the Cloudsoma is set up for comfort: CloudTec pods handle the impact of road running, and the Speedboard stops that softness from feeling directionless as the pace settles into something relaxed. Comfort, rather than speed, is the whole design brief here.

It works best as the easy-day shoe, used for recovery running and the slow miles that support harder sessions elsewhere. The fit is secure without being tight, the upper breathes adequately across a long run, and the wide platform gives the kind of stable, repeatable landing that suits a low-effort stride.
