Red has always been the colour runners reach for when they want to feel quick, and the Crimson Pegasus 41 leans into that. It is still a daily trainer rather than a session shoe, but the 41 handles strides, fartlek and the faster end of steady running better than its reputation as a plodder suggests. Useful on the days you feel good.

ReactX foam is resilient enough to hold its shape when you push the pace, and the Air Zoom units at the forefoot and heel become more noticeable as you move forward onto the ball of the foot. The engineered mesh upper keeps the heel locked during changes of speed. Rubber under the forefoot takes the scuffing that faster running causes.
