This is the women's Pegasus 41 in its plainest form: no SE graphics, no SP materials, just the trainer that sells more than any other Nike running shoe. The women's last means a closer hold through the heel and a slightly different volume over the instep, which is worth knowing if past Pegasus pairs have felt roomy at the back.

ReactX foam handles the cushioning with a resilient, faintly bouncy character, and Air Zoom units under the forefoot and heel keep easy paces lively. The engineered mesh upper is breathable and holds the foot through corners. For a runner who wants one shoe for everything from recovery jogs to tempo work, this remains the sensible default.
